For the second year in a row, Street Poets was invited to participate in the annual international Youth Initiative Forum in Jarna, Sweden. SP Teaching Artists Art Quiros and Frank Escamilla, along with youth leader Jaynese \u201cLadybug\u201d Poole, were asked to share their creative gifts with the conference participants, hosting an open-mic event as well writing and dance workshops. \u201cIt was my first time ever visiting some place outside of the United States,\u201d Jaynese exclaimed. \u201cWhat an amazing, mind-blowing experience. I felt like a woodland fairy out there.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
